Kinlochewe and the Torridon area is situated approximately 50 miles west of Inverness and placed amidst the magnificent scenery of the Torridon Hills , the Beinn Eighe National Nature Reserve, bordered by Loch Maree and Loch Torridon . The spectacular mountains in the Torridon area, including the Munro's Beinn Alligan, Beinn Eighe, Slioch and Liathach offer excellent climbing, and there are many easier beautiful scenic walks for those who like a more leisurely pace. As well as hill walking and climbing the area is ideally situated for both loch and sea fishing, birdwatching or simply relaxing.
Further to the west their are many idyllic coastal towns, such as Gairloch and Ullapool where
unspoilt sandy beaches and coastline are in abundance. With an excellent choice of hotels, self
