Harvest time on the Black Isle overlooking Easter Ross

There are almost an infinite number of possibilities of places to visit and things to do whilst visiting, or even living, in the Highlands.

For Wildlife lovers there is plenty to see from Whales, Dolphins and Seals right down to a host of native and rare breeds of birds. For those wanting to breathe the fine air and brush off the cobwebs there are a variety of walks and climbs, with guidance if required, and if this is not adventurous enough there are plenty of action activities such as quad biking, horse riding, helicopter flights, sailing and shooting (at clay pigeons not the wildlife!).

Take in the culture with a trip to a kiltmakers, a distillery, a museum or a heritage site or ponder over your next shot on one of the many spectacular golf courses.

The list of possibilities is endless and will ensure a trip to the Highlands will not be your only one.
